Material that may encourage or persuade violence or racial/cultural/ religious/gender hatred
Alcohol, drugs or substances
Items used as weapons (firearms- real or replica, knives or others sharps, bats)
Pornographic material
Rope, metal, clothes hangers or super glue.
CCTV
There are CCTV cameras in the shared area of each unit. We use these to help keep young people, and others, safe. To protect privacy, there are no cameras in the bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, toilets, shared bathrooms or the treatment rooms (clinics).
Keys
All bedrooms are lockable from the inside. If young people want a key to their bedroom then they can request one, however, an individual risk assessment is completed before hand to ensure it is safe for them to have a key.
