What ever religion you choose to follow we will support you to ensure you have everything you need to practice, this includes attending places of worship, specific foods, dedicated places to pray or worship.

Supporting you to Keep Safe
We have CCTV in the communal areas of the unit. However, to protect your privacy, CCTV cameras are not installed in the bedrooms, on suite bathrooms, toilets, shared bathrooms or the treatment room (Clinic).

Fire Safety
Just in case there’s a fire, there are fire call points all around each unit and the Hub. Anyone can activate these if they spot a fire and this will cause the fire alarm to sound.

Physical Health & Wellbeing
When young people move to Aaban we will help them register with local health services like a doctor, a dentist and an optician. Our nursing team monitor their physical health on the unit and will support them...

Education
During their time at Aaban, each young person is offered regular education sessions with our teacher. Initially the sessions are to be one-to-one but, if appropriate, they become small group sessions.
