Our specially-designed facilities are instrumental to delivering the high-quality treatment and care we strive for here at Aaban. Our two units, Providence and Moira, provide each of our service users with a safe, peaceful, homely environment that they need to effectively recover.
Both of our units have been purpose-built from the ground up by specialist architects, with every aspect of them designed to aid and assist recovery as much as possible. Providence and Moira are located within the calm community of Oswaldtwistle, allowing our service users to recover in privacy but not in isolation. Alongside treatment and care, we focus on helping service users to improve their Activities of Daily Living, otherwise known as ADLs.
Activities of Daily Living are defined as:
A modern, 10 bed, fully en-suite facility, Providence is an all-female treatment unit for residents aged 16 and over, with a primary diagnosis of personality disorder. Purpose-built by specialist architects, it’s designed to meet the severe and complex needs of our service users in a homely environment, and provide them with both dignity and privacy throughout their stay.
